Day 1 : Trek: Starts at 9 am from Shimla Mall road to Jakhu temple and back to Shimla

Start your day by visiting The Ridge located along Mall Road- the starting point for your Jakhu Temple trek. This place witnesses huge crowd because of its bustling shops, mesmerizing sights of snow-covered mountains and prime location. Vehicles are not permitted in this area, so it is free of pollution. You can enjoy long walks at this place without the noise of constant honking. If you are starting your trek at 9 am, you can have enough time to enjoy The Ridge.

The Jakhu Temple is at a distance of 2 kilometres from The Ridge. So, it will take you approximately 20 to 25 minutes to reach the temple through trekking. Here you will witness some of the most amazing views of the hill and even be a part of religious culture in Shimla.
