Kalpeshwar Trek
Overview
Kalpeshwar is the fifth temple in the list of famous Panch Kedaras pilgrimage circuit and it is the only temple of the Panch Kedaras that remains open throughout the year. The matted hairs or Jata or Lord Shiva are worshipped here, inside this temple.The Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of his matted hairs at Kalpeshwar and the trail to this sacred shine goes through green thick forests and lush green terrace fields. There is also an old Kalpaviksha tree here which is said to be the wish-granting tree, According to Hindu mythology.

Itinerary
- Start your Journey from Rishikesh, the gateway to Garhwal hills.
- Drive to Rudraprayag, with opposite to flow of river Alaknanda and Ganga.
- Stay overnight here, in lodges or hotels, visit the Sangam at evening time and explore the town.
- Today start up with a hearty breakfast and hire a taxi for Helang vally only 20 kms.
- Explore the valley for today only, meet local peoples, enjoy the day in fresh air between the mountains.
- Stay here in camps for tonight.
- Get up early in morning with the glimpse of sunlight, and enjoy sunrise in fresh and quite valley.
- Take your brerakfast, and start your trek to Devgaon, in between enjoy majestic views of mountains surrounded with snow peaks.
- Have your lunch in Devgaon and rest for a while and again trek to Kalpeshwar temple.
- On arrival worship here, and explore the area and the majestic tree also, listen stories from priests here.
- Stay overnight here in camps.
- Get up early today, and worship again with priests in temple.
- Take Lord Shiva blessings with you and trek back to Helang valley.
- Since it’s a busy day, rest like a king here for tonight.
- Now it’s time to get back to your destination via Joshimath and Rishikesh with best memories with you.
