Overview
Mandani Valley trek is considered as one of the major challenging trek in Garhwal Himalayas. This is a part of the trail within Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary which connects two famous Hindu shrines named as Badrinath and Kedarnath
Highlights of this trek are lush green meadow with full of beautiful colour flowers -Mandani Bugyal, Yeonbuk Col (4,663 M), Mahapanth col (4,602 M), Bishali Col (4750M) , breathtaking views of Chaukhamba(7272 M), KedarNath Pea(6940 M), Kedar Dome (6,831 M) and wide range of Himalayas diverse flora & fauna.
- Many mythological stories associated with the Mandani Bugyal trek. According to one story Mighty Goddess Durga killed Mahishasur and buried him into the earth at this place. After that, she took the shape of the rock and decided to sit on him forever. That rock is presented at same place.
- According to others ancient story, It is believed that Pandavas passed through with same place during their journey to Swargarohini. The ancient temple presence is visible in Mandani Bugyal near Usha River.

Itinerary
- Reach Rishikesh & Drive for Ransi Village via Deoprayag, Rudraprayag, Ukhimath.
- Evening will reach Ransi Village after check in Guest house or camps.
- After healthy breakfast start trek to Sanyara Kharak , quite ascend from Ransi Village, from top view ,we can see majestic eye bird view of Ransi Village & Kedar Valley.
- Night Stay in Camp.
- We will ascend the trail here by leaving Sanyara behind and the trek will proceed to the Paturi at an altitude of about 3300 M.
- We will start Trek from Paturi to Thouli camp 3865 M, via Thouli top 3920 M in 7 to 8 hours.
- Night stay will be at Thouli camp, with bonfire and sweet music.
- A Bit ascend trek thel descend from Thouli camp 3865m proceeding towards the Dagla bugyal 3505m via Dwara Pass and Dwara Top at an altitude of 4150m.
- It will take 6-7 hours to reach Dagla Bugyal, enjoy eye feasting view here with plain green meadows, which will satisfy your soul for sure.
- Spent overnight in Camps.
- Daghala Bugyal is known for rare Himalayan herbs, if you have good knowledge of ayurveda, you will feel blessed to being here.
- We will see first view of Mandani valley from Daghla. Magnificent view of this flower valley feel us unique place in this Earth, the Mandani river flows between this valley which originate Mandani glacier.
- The trek ascends from here and goes up to at Yembuk Col Base camp (4130m). This will take about 6-7 hours.
- At such height its very cool at night, so fire some wood is best option, if possible.
- We will Cross the Yembuk Col Base camp to reach Mahapanth Col base camp at an altitude of 4450m, your waiting destionation.
- The trail will go through Bishali Col (4750m) to Mahapanth Col Base camp (4450m 2hrs) taking 7 to 8 hours.
- We will trek to Kedarnath (3380 M).
- Worship here for Lord Shiva, and take blessings with you.
- Night stay in Guest House in Kedarnath or camps available.
- Early morning visit to Kedarnath temple then trek down to Son Prayag.
- Night stay at Gaurikund/ Sonprayag.
- Today is final day of our journey. We travel from Sonprayag to Rishikesh along with Mandakini, Alaknanda & Ganga River.
